Retriever Reflections is published monthly by the Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Club. Regular features in the newsletter include a President's Message, updates on upcoming events, litter listings from club members, brags and new titles, and information of general interest to the membership. The February and August editions include the GGLRC Stud Dog Registry. Non-members may subscribe to the newsletter for $25 per year by contacting the GGLRC Membership Chair. Litter Listing Requirements: GGLRC members may submit litter listings for their dogs and/or bitches. As stated in the GGLRC Breeders Code of Ethics, you must submit health clearance information for both the sire and the dam: OFA or Wind-Morgan clearances and certifications by a board certified veterinary opthalmologist that the dog has been examed within the last year and was found free of hereditary eye disease. Health certificates are required before a litter will be listed in Retriever Reflections. You must also indicate whether or not the parents have met the Code of Ethics performance requirement (CD, one or more championship points, JAM, field title, WC, or GGLRC Retrieving Dog Elementary Certificate). A $10.00 donation is required for the publication of each litter listing. Each litter listing will be published twice. Please submit litter listings to the Newsletter Editor. Checks should be made payable to GGLRC. Contact the GGLRC Treasurer for mailing instructions. All litter listing proceeds are forwarded to Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue. |
