GGLRC Labrador Retriever Rescue Information

Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Rescue facilitates the placement of unwanted Labrador Retrievers into new homes. GGLRR was established as a separate California Nonprofit Public Benefit Corporation in October of 1996. GGLRR:

  1. Encourages and promotes responsible dog ownership and attempts to reduce the abuse and neglect of unwanted Labrador Retrievers through rehabilitation and adoption.
  2. Promotes the humane treatment of Labrador Retrievers, accepts unwanted Labrador Retrievers for placement, cares for them medically, spays/neuters, and places them in caring homes.
  3. Provides educational services to the public on responsible breeding and ownership of Labrador Retrievers.
  4. Educates dog owners about training, spay/neuter, humane care for their dog, and promotes good canine citizenship.
