About Us

The objectives of the Golden Gate Labrador Retriever Club are to:

1. Encourage and promote the quality of pure-bred Labrador Retrievers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfections.

2. Urge members and breeders to abide by the Breeder Code of Ethics as set forth by the Club.

3. Do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows, obedience trials, hunting retriever tests, and field trials.

4. Conduct sanctioned and licensed speciality shows, obedience trials, hunting retriever tests, and field trials under the rules of the American Kennel Club.
